The 552 vacancies are distributed across three primary departments. The Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) post continues to offer the highest number of openings this year.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the MPSC Group B Services, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Final-year students are eligible to appear for the Preliminary examination.
Proficiency in the Marathi Language is mandatory.
2. Age Limit (As of August 1, 2026)
ASO & STI: 18 to 38 years (General Category).
PSI: 19 to 31 years (General Category).
Relaxation applies to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as per government norms.
3. Physical Standards (For PSI Only)
Male Candidates: Minimum height of 165 cm.
Female Candidates: Minimum height of 157 cm.
MPSC Group B Selection Process
The selection is a rigorous three-stage process designed to test the academic and physical aptitude of the candidates:
Preliminary Examination (100 Marks): A common objective test for all posts.
Main Examination (400 Marks): Conducted for those who clear the Prelims.
Physical Test & Interview (PSI Only): Candidates for the PSI post must clear a physical efficiency test (100 marks) and a personal interview (40 marks).
